I’m Deseray Wilson, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Qualified Supervisor in Florida, the founder of Supervision Support and Creator of Anxious Black Girls, a virtual therapy practice serving Black and Brown women across Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Washington State. My passion is helping new clinicians grow into confident, skilled, and ethical professionals, while avoiding the pitfalls I faced on my own journey.

I know firsthand how challenging it can be to secure the right supervision. Early in my career, I spent months searching for a supervisor and finally began my journey toward licensure, only to discover my supervisor and I were not a good match. I stayed because it was affordable, but after ten months, she ghosted me completely, ignoring calls, emails, and texts. All the progress I had made over 800 client hours and 20 supervision hours was suddenly in jeopardy. I had to walk away and start completely from scratch. It was devastating, frustrating, and disheartening.

I turned that experience into action. I created the original Supervision Support, a nationwide directory featuring over 300 qualified supervisors, a podcast, and even hosted a sold-out Supervision Conference in 2019. When COVID hit, I stepped back to focus on full-time clinical practice, building my family, and climbing the corporate ladder all while keeping Supervision Support close to my heart.

Now, I’m returning to the space that shaped my journey and made such an impact in the industry. I bring real-world experience as a clinician, private practice owner, and clinical leader to supervision. My mission is to prevent what I endured from happening to other clinicians, and to train new therapists in a revolutionary way… with practical skills, ethical guidance, and career mentorship that goes beyond counting hours.
